Thought this might be fun. What is your favorite song from different genres? You can add or take away genres if you want. There are a lot of songs I love from several genres, but you have to pick just one. Include the artist.

Rock- You Shook Me All Night Long (AC/DC)
Metal- Destroy All (Static X)
Pop- Love never Felt So Good (Michael Jackson)
Punk- The Kids Aren't Alright (The Offspring)
Country- As Good As I Once Was (Toby Keith)
Christian- Trust In Jesus (Third Day)
Hymn- Blessed Assurance (Fanny Crosby and Phoebe Knapp)
Rap- Momma Said Knock You Out (LL Cool J)
R&B- Easy (Commodores)

Scotts Tot

Rock- Ramble On (Zep) This feels like an impossible decision so I'll just pick one from my favorite band
Metal- ??? Don't know much metal
Pop- Make You Feel My Love (Adele)
Punk- ??? Also don't listen
Country- Feelin Good Again (REK) maybe cliche to the Aggie crowd but I listen to very little mainstream country and I think this is a beautiful song from a more genuine version of the genre
Christian- ??? Don't listen to much Christian radio-oriented music
Hymn- It Is Well (This hymn encapsulates the Christian experience better than any other hymn I know, and I know quite a few for my age)
Rap- Next Episode (Dre) This was our runout song on my varsity basketball team and is pretty much the only association I have with rap
R&B/soul- A Change is Gonna Come (Sam Cooke) A social justice anthem from a time when social justice actually meant something
Jazz - Kind of Blue (Mile Davis album) another cliche choice, but I challenge anyone who thinks they don't like jazz to sit down with a drink and really listen to this. It is incredible music, and is a seminal work of jazz performed by an all star lineup of a few of the greatest jazz musicians ever.
