Quote:
Clerks 3 first look image reveals reunited and older cast members from the first two movies. 1994's stoner comedy Clerks announced the arrival of writer-director Kevin Smith as a darling of the indie movie scene. In 2006 he followed it up with the sequel Clerks II, which unfortunately did not receive quite as much acclaim as the original.
Now almost thirty years after the first Clerks introduced the View Askewniverse and its recurring heroes Jay and Silent Bob, Smith will revisit the convenience store that started it all for Clerks III. The original movie's stars Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson are back as slacker Quick Stop employees Dante and Randal, as are Clerks II additions Rosario Dawson as Becky and Trevor Fehrman as Elias. Of course, Smith is also back as Silent Bob as is Jason Mewes as his constant companion Jay. And there are bound to be some interesting cameos given all the big stars who've been pulled into the View Akewniverse over the years.
