Did this show ever get a final episode?? I loved it for a while but then it seemed to just disappear. Course I heard at one point the original actress who played Kate quit the show and they re-cast her which probably was a bad idea
can't decide which intro is better.....the one in the OP or Cleveland Rocks

When I was a kid I would have sworn Mimi was Drew Carey in drag.
It looks like the show technically got a finale, but the final season was aired out of order over the summer which is where networks shoved things they were done with or didn't think stood a chance to get good ratings. As a kid, i used to watch The Drew Carey Show a bunch and I don't remember watching the final years at all.jokershady said:

They didn't recast Kate, but they introduced a new character who essentially replaced Kate.
I think Christa Miller left the show due to getting married to Bill Lawrence (of Scrubs and Ted Lasso fame) and having a family. She wasn't originally going to be on Scrubs a bunch.
Man, I completely forgot about the original theme song. I just remembered Cleveland Rocks.

The Drew Carey Show was weird in the sense that I absolutely loved it, but I also rarely watched it. It was never given a decent time slot. However, whenever I happened upon it, it was great.
I'd totally forgotten about this Oompa Loompa looking lady.
Was this the only show she ever did? Her character in retrospect reminds me of the housekeeper in Two and a Half Men.

Can't say I watched it when it first ran but a while back I found a subchannel from one of the local HD feeds that had shows like Becker and Night Court and WKRP, and the Drew Carey show had like 2 hours straight every day. I worked from home so it was just on as background noise but still, I saw through the series' run after a few months. It's a good show.
I just tried to find this show streaming and nobody has it. Only season one is available for purchase no matter the format. The website I looked at to see if anyone had it claims it has something to do with the music they used.
