I've seen other docs on them but thought this one was very well done
What do you boys want for breakfast BBQ ?.....OK Chili.
Watched it last night on your recommendation. Learned a lot I didn't know, but the pace was a little slow. Wish it had focused more on the music than the plane crash.
interesting take. I felt like they focused a ton on the music and told the crash story very quickly - for instance they didn't even mention WHY the plane crashed. 100% pilot error - they ran out of fuel

Which POV is the story of the crash told from?
When we did Street Survivors, it was from Pyle's POV but the others don't think he is super reputable and his past is troubling. When my old roommate was writing the script he spent weeks with Artemis interviewing him. I think he has over 50 hours of video recordings.

Very good and yes I also learned a lot. Much better than any "Behind the Music" episode. And did a good job keeping up with all the lineups and personnel changes.
