Hoooooooly hell this show was so bad. Like unbelievably bad. The actors and plot were so incredibly bad. The dramatic pauses were so pathetic, the cgi looked like the land of the lost. The daughter, female FBI agent and dad are worse than TCs favorite actor, the detective from malignant. This probably wasn't on purpose though.

I did not set out to watch it but popped the hotel tv on after work and it was on and I was just immediately consumed by the amazingly terribleness of it all. The commercial for the show that aired about 50 minutes in to the show was equally as bad.

"La Brea. WHERE are they? WHEN are they? '

It is incredible to me that things like this get made and that millions of people tune in week after week. It will probably be a smash hit and branded as a LOST for slow people.

Only thing I have to add is that unless you really have a lot of time to kill the la Brea tar pits really aren't worth the time.

Mom yes, daughter no. She is terrible. Wait until she gets all see you next Tuesday at the end. There are some lines she has where I've never seen worse acting. Same with the Indian agent. She was so bad. I bet all these people are ashamed they were in this.

I honestly don't know how they make this show interesting. They put a couple scenes in that obviously will require more exploring, but good lord its bad. The schizo dad magically finding a ring in a place his wife was when he saw her in the time rift etc, the mountain man, the ridiculous saber tooth tiger. Oh man.

That would be really hard to do considering how spread out the typical kid friendly/ photogenic dinosaurs were on the timeline.

I thought they were cool. However, I am a science guy and dig that kind of stuff.

My cool starry bra from that trip, was driving back from the pits, right by the Ralphs and there was some 20 something girl just walking down the street, minding her own business with no shirt or bra on. Looked like she was walking to a college class or something, just like her normal every day stroll. No rule one cause I was driving, and you get what you pay for and viewing those was free.

You couldn't get them all in one place, but you could have the end Cretaceous with T.rex, Triceratops, Hadrosaurs, Ankylosaurus, etc or the middle Jurassic with massive sauropods, stegosaurs, Allosaurus, and so on.

Man it has certainly become that way. I've started to wonder if network television always sucked, but there were less premium channel prestige shows to compare them against. Notable exceptions obviously.

This is actually a good case for not giving it a shot either. The shows that are actually good don't have big enough audiences to make it on network TV and they get cancelled.
