Show ended on Dec. 31, 1979. Last episode aired May 2006. 15 years ago. I'm guessing they'll pick up in 1995 a) for continuity and b) middle of the decade was right as grunge was beginning to fade but still kicking and if it's a successful show they can follow through on to the boy band/Britney crap that came later in the decade. I could see some pretty funny Fez/Kelso stuff with that.
