Just on some reflection after posting this, I have mentioned before I was a history major so I admittedly nerd out on this stuff, but living pieces of history like her fascinate and amaze me.
She would have remembered WWI and the Spanish Flu. Heck she was alive when Titanic sank. When the stock market crashed she was already around 20. Then depression, WW2 she was in her thirties when it broke out, the Cold War, civil rights movement she was already in her fifties when that bill passed in '64.
And that's before the fact that as a kid she was one of the muses that helped WD create animation and then was there from the first animated Disney movie onwards.
Just can't imagine having a life like that. But I guess that's why even Bob Iger took the time to say a few words on her passing. Really remarkable.
