To me, it just sounds like Hollywood has unwritten rules like baseball that this guy is perceived as breaking. Whether he did or didn't (and whether those rules are good, bad, or stupid), I can't say I care too much.

This thread (and more so the tweets linked from it) are an example of what is bad with social media in general: people making assumptions and/or commenting on things without really being involved "because they can".
