It was more a comment on how the majority of fox news is classified as entertainment (that they have argued in court that no one should take seriously) vs news.

I imagine their weather channel being 60 mins of actual weather spread among 23 hours of "weather opinion and commentary"

Speaking as a non-practicing attorney, I can say with confidence that you should not take seriously any assertion made in court by an interested party, as it will inevitably be a self-serving slant on the truth. Specific to the Fox News case, it was an argument that Tucker Carlson's opinion/pundit show was engaging in exaggeration and non-literal commentary, and that viewers knew that going in. Probably pretty accurate as far as cable news pundit shows go, whether left or right.

Similar arguments have been made for both Alex Jones and Rachel Maddow in court, so I'd definitely agree with your last statement

Getting back to the channel they covered a Noreaster approaching New England the cyclone bomb that hit the west coast and tornadoes that hit Missouri I think yesterday. The studio and production quality is pretty awesome so not political

I'm going to give their new app a whirl. A lot of the formerly free apps have moved to a pay model for some features and I simply don't care enough about detailed weather to pay for it. Will see how it rates out as a free app.

Bonus points if hot chicks are sprinkled throughout the app and if they overlay Tucker Carlson's head as the eye of any storm that hammers a blue state.
