New Tom Hanks flick on AppleTV+ streaming now. Best description I can give it is a mashup of Castaway and WALL-E. We enjoyed it. Some good suspense and a sweet story.

Nah, I don't think it's quite at that level. Hanks does a good job, but the only other two characters are a robot and a dog, so if that's not your jam, stay away.

Pretty film too. Some nice scenery from different parts of my home state of New Mexico.

There was a commercial last night for this with something like "a powerful theatrical experience" and ended with Now Streaming on Apple+. This is something I would have wanted to see on the big screen.

Haven't seen it yet, but skeet ulrich is listed as one of the actors. I assume he plays some sort of post apocalyptic baddie to give the flick some dramatic third act tension?

Edit: Looks like his role did not survive editing to make the film more upbeat.
