The only spider in the US that scares me. Hope he doesn't lose his arm.

That is a lot of trouble for a movie that's probably gonna suck.

They should cut their losses.

My dad almost lost an arm from the same thing. They're no joke.

My brother got bit on the leg by one in his Caesar's Palace hotel room in Vegas of all places. Luckily he caught it early and it wasn't too bad, but yeah those things are pretty heinous.

It's almost never an actual spider causing these issues. I can't remember the last time I've had someone claiming a "spider bite", actually having seen the spider that supposedly bit them. Brown Recluses are not common to Northern New Mexico. This is almost always due to a skin infection either from IV drug use or from just bad luck. In the ER we call them the MRSA spiders or the meth/heroin spider. True brown recluse bites are extremely rare. They are called "recluse" for a reason.

in the 80s one of my classmates was a neighbor and we were over at each other's houses pretty often. i was young, but her mom was stunningly beautiful, even in my pre-teen age i could tell that. i didn't think much of it at the time, but she always wore pants, but once in her house she wore shorts and had a completely mangled and deformed leg that i'm sure i gawked at like an idiot at.

she told me it was a brown recluse bite and i have forever been deathly afraid of them.

If you know for sure you got bite, you can start some Dexamethasone. You start by injecting 1/10th CC of Dexamethasone divided into two or three subcutaneous shots right around the perimeter of the bite inflamed area. Then start some oral antibiotics like doxycycline.

One Friday afternoon I had gotten a cut on my thumb that looked a little red so I went to the doc in the box becuase I figured I needed some antibiotics and couldn't get into see my primary. I didn't want to wait until Monday just in case it got worse. They immmediately started me on IV antibiotics and sent me to the hospital. Saturday morning they were talking about possibly losing my thumb. Spent the next several days in the hospital on an IV drip.

MRSA is no joke.

Are they seriously going on with production of this movie?
I assumed it would be put on hold at the least.

This was my question, but I did some more reading and production has definitely shut down while the investigation continues (and surely it never comes back). The bite had to have been before the gun incident.

I'm sure anyone who can has started severing their relationship with that movie.

I thought this production was snakebite. Looks like I was half right.
