Anybody else seen them on their current tour? Went to the Austin show last night and was very impressed. I'd seen them before at a few festival shows and liked them, but this was their first full concert for me. I was afraid this would be more of a jam band show with long drawn out guitar noodling, but he packed a ton of songs into a really great set and featured his incredibly talented band. If you're at all interested in their music, I'd strongly recommend catching a live show.

Saw them open for Band of Heathens at Fitzgerald's one time and they were great.

Saw them in Houston on Monday, and they were *excellent*. First time seeing them, but I was really impressed and had a fantastic time. Highly recommend checking them out if you get the chance, he is a very underrated guitar player and is obviously a natural. They seemed to be having a good time up there, even this late in the tour.

Glad to hear he made a good first impression. I'd seen enough of his guitar playing to appreciate it, but didn't realize what a good songwriter he is. I also didn't know his latest album is dedicated to his mom's best friend (and a mother figure to him) that died of cancer last year. My wife's sister is battling stage 4 lung cancer now, and my wife (who normally doesn't pay much attention to lyrics) was moved to tears by songs she'd never heard before. I asked her if she wanted to leave and she didn't.
