Jonah's a great actor, but my choice would actually be Post Malone. Hear me out. IF he could pull off the acting. I just went to my first Dead & Company show in November, and leading up to it I watched the Long Strange Trip docuseries on Amazon that Scorsese produced. A few times I thought Jerry looked like Post. They have a similar face shape, same wavy/curly hair, and a similar smile.




He could definitely pull off the musical aspect, but would need some face makeup for the tattoos.

That being said I'm all in for the movie. Since the show I've become a bit of a Dead & Co head. Downloaded nugs app and started at the beginning of the 2021 tour and pretty much listen to two shows a day, even Drums and Space!

Really hoping he mixes a little DeNiro and Pesci in for affect!

Pretty jacked for this, i think Jonah understands the importance of this and will do a good job.

I saw a pretty great meme of the superbad guys, jonah as jerry, michael cera as Bob, and mclovin as Phil. lol got a good laugh
but very interested to see who they cast as the rest of the band.

Scorsese was involved in Long Strange Trip and that was good.

He was also around the scene in the 60s so I think he will handle it well.

Not sure I believe Jonah as a young Jerry, but we will see.

I actually agree, but it's still funny to think the fat kid in Accepted is thought of that way.

I thought Jonah Hill seemed like a really odd choice. Some are saying they should have gone with the dad from Teen Wolf.
