O Holy Night is the best Christmas song of all time, and it's not even close. I will take any number of great singers performing this song to any other Christmas tune; and the more versus of the song they sing, the better. No other song better epitomizes what Christmas is in such a beautiful combination of words and chords. That movement to the minor chords on the chorus is just chill inducing.

Anita Kerr Singers 1969 Christmas Album. A little bit of jazz, big band, vocal harmony. Listened to this religiously every Christmas since I can remember.

This is #1A to Vince Guaraldi / Charlie Brown #1 for me.

I like the classics. It's not Christmas without some Andy Williams.

But this is a somewhat modern song that is one of my favorites. Written in 2002 by Michael McDonald and Beth Nielsen Chapman.
