I didn't think to take any. It was a dim sum place so not surprising my first robot experience would be at an Asian place.

It was basically a robot cart that I assume uses the same software as robot vacuums. It played music and spoke to you. You got your own food off of the cart unless the server was walking by. And then it would say"Thank YOU!!!!" and return to its home in the kitchen.
