Definitely one of my all-time favorites, and I'm glad I was able to meet him on the First National Band Redux tour. RIP, Papa Nez, and thanx for the ride.

And, darn, I almost got tickets to see him and Mickey Dolenz out here in SoCal last month in November and decided against it. Lesson learned. Never hesitate to go see aging musicians from your youth when you get a chance.

Same! I *almost* pulled the trigger on seeing them in Austin and decided against it when I thought my schedule would be too hectic thst week.
Just two or three months later, I can't tell you even a single thing I had on my schedule that week....but I would have remembered the concert.
