Didn't see another thread started.

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it. Oscar Isaac was pretty incredible in it. Willem Dafoe was also great though we didn't get many scenes with him. Tiffany Haddish seems like a weird casting and I don't really care for her acting.

I didn't know anything about this movie going in and the trailer is pretty ambiguous.

The Abu Ghraib scenes were shocking and tough to watch. I had no idea that this movie was going to be about that. Thought it was going to be a casual movie about a dude who counts cards in the casino circuit. I should have known when I saw it was written and directed by Paul Schrader.

Started watching this last night and Tiffany Haddish's acting stands out like a sore thumb, especially in comparison to Oscar Isaac. Not sure how anyone thought she was a good fit for the role but that was an unbelievably horrible mis-cast.

Been over a month and I'm still thinking about this one. Honestly, it was really good. Kind of surprised it isn't being talked about more on Texags.
