If you've never read "Who the devil made it?" It's a great book on old Hollywood directors that he wrote.

He also wrote one about actors called "Who the hell's in it?" But it's not as good. Still fun but much more anecdotal.

Dorothy Stratten was a 20 year old playboy model that A 40- ish year old Bogdanovich hooked up with. While in a relationship with Bogdanovich, she was murdered by her ex husband.
