Damn, celebrities dropping like flies. Or maybe I'm just getting old, and it is the celebrities I grew up with.

It's a shame she got saddled with the last name "Spector"..

How Phil ever pulled her is a wonder. I guess being successful in the music business helps. It worked for Mutt Lange with Shania Twain.

It's the nature of the beast. The entertainment world really started to explode in the 60's and has kept growing exponentially. So celebrities in the 60's were let's say 20-30 years old. That would put them born in the 1940's. That would put them around 70-80 years old right now which is what you would consider the "average" age of someone passing. In other words, it's just getting started just from a pure numbers standpoint as there were so many more famous people in the 1960's as opposed to the 1940's.

More celebrities, more celebrities to die.
