Wife and I are watching the series for the 1st time.
Yea, yea, I know.

Anyway, 4 episodes to go.
Hate to see it end.

Personally, I put the series ahead of Breaking Bad.

And the late actor that portrayed Omar, wow. Amazing how he, amongst a number of other great performers, how he is able to steal every scene in which he appears.

The Wire and Lost are the only two shows that I started a rewatch and made it all the way through, and The Wire, I actually thought got better with the second viewing. With Breaking Bad, Sopranos, BSG and GoT, I just got bored and stopped watching after awhile.

As someone who has rewatched the wire 5 plus times, I cannot recommend this book more!

Great scene when Omar went out to buy Honey Nut Cheerios in his robe and the all go running, dropping bags of drugs out the window.

I watched it when it first came out. My wife did not. About to take her on the journey. I usually hate watching shows/movies twice, but stoked for this.

Greatness. Can't believe it premiered almost 20 years ago.

The editing on that montage was such an awesome way to end that season.

No matter how much things change, they stay the same in almost as many ways.
