The point is, you are comparing pictures where she is in the spotlight, on the red carpet, in movies, etc to a current picture where she's obviously just doing everyday stuff. For all we know, she dressed "Walmart" around the house when she was young and attractive.

I'm a t-shirt and jeans guy, but I don't wear that to occasions that dictate better dress.

Inglorious Basterds was just over a decade ago, while she stopped acting a good 7-8 years before that. Kind of crazy that she held it together for most of a decade to where she looked basically the same, and then absolutely fell apart in about a decade where she's unrecognizable.

Getting old is one thing. Being basically unrecognizable is something else

Yeah, but I've also had some extremely awkward experiences at parties or happy hours where some older woman starts talking to me like she knows me, and I have to play along without asking their names....only to find out later that it was some friend of my older sisters who I did not recognize at all after not seeing them for a few years. Even chicks I thought were pretty attractive when I was a kid and they were in high school or college. Like someone else said, the menopause bomb is pretty random. They don't all have the Liz Hurley genes.

But my main point was that it's pretty crappy (and creepy) when papperazzi go stalking women who are just living private lives and minding their own business so the Perez Hiltons can LOL. Fonda probably had no idea she was even being photographed while leaving Target or whatever.

Forget that she used to be a famous actress. Any woman who goes from how Bridget Fonda used to look to the current version is shocking. Her transformation is extreme. You won't find many girls you knew in your 20s who will change that much by their 60s, if they put a little effort into it.

Also, if she'd stayed in the public enough to let the world see her as she was aging, it wouldn't be quite so shocking.

Yeah, my wife is 54 and looks a lot younger than this woman in the picture. But she works out, had minor work done. The lady in these pictures appears to do neither.

It's easy to look at the 1991 Bridget and the 2022 Bridget and say "getting old sucks". However, it is truly shocking when you compares the 2009 and 20022 Bridgets. She is still instantly recognizable in 2009. Makes me wonder if she is having some sort of health issue.
