Anything focusing on Tegridy is an immediate power drain. I'm almost wondering if there is a side bet going on to see how many Tegridy-centric episodes they can air. At net worth of $600-700 mill each, they are beyond F you money

I thought this Cold War episode was the worst 20 minutes of South Park I've ever seen.

Started off strong and ended pretty weak.

Agree, one of my least favorite SP episodes. Other than the Tolkien episode, haven't been a fan of the latest season.

Anyone see that PC Principal went to Texas A&M University in the last episode?

I didn't catch it in the last episode, but he did say it out loud when he was introducing himself at his PC frat in the first season that they introduced him.

The teen episode with airsoft was perfect! I deal with that population at work all the time and they nailed it.

im really starting to worry about matt and trey. they got tunnel vision with trump and have now traded that for marijuana. wouldnt bother me so much if they hadnt ruined the best character on the show

I agree that Randy and the Tegridy stuff has been driven far enough. After 25 season and 317 episodes, not counting movies and side projects, they've just fallen on a formula of using recurring storylines and jokes more and more to take the pressure off the weekly deadlines. It's probably impossible to keep coming up with fresh, random abstract ideas year after year as they get older and interests change. But they're still getting paid pretty well to try to meet demand, and it's still more successful than almost any other original programing Comedy Central has ever come up with.

I keep wondering if they really are running out of material and/or being lazy or if they're trolling. I feel like they are recycling bits to see how far they can push it before people really get pissed off.

Agree, they even joke about it during episodes

"What if we made another Tegridy episode since we have to do a St. Patrick's Day special?"

"Yeah and let's make it about a Tegridy special which also doubles as a joke about how it's a crappy special episode"

"Ok and let's overtly acknowledge that we can't think of anything better than Tegridy"

What did you guys think of the streaming wars episode? I thought it was one of the better ones recently. I kept cracking up anytime they sadly mentioned Cartman's mom needing surgery.

Streaming Wars Part II just dropped this week on Paramount+ I didn't like these as much as the post-COVID stuff, but there were still some good moments like everything being called __+ or __Max.

I know a lot of people hate the Tegridy stuff, but I find it funny that they've continued to troll people by making it part of almost every story. I love how Randy came back for just a few minutes just to go right back to Karen.

part 2 was much better. i appreciate how they acknowledged that they ruined randy's character.
