I wholeheartedly agree. It has character development that LK does not have, and tons of heart. The humor is great and the show is so vondensed that every moment is important and there is no filler. It is a love letter to Canada, hockey, and Sudbury and I am here for it.
I did not love the family reunion scene and it is the only thing I could do without. They could have cut it in half to get the point across about Shoresy's past and saved the time. I am sure opinions vary and that is fine!

Definitely the same opinion as our house. Loved the earlier seasons of LK, but the last few really have left us saying "that's it?" Doesn't help that they are still really short.chilidogfood said:

I feel like the show has lost a lot of its teeth. First couple of seasons it was all about fighting and chirping, not caring who you piss off, etc. Idk if it was the move to hulu or if keeso and gang just grew up and didn't want to do that anymore, but I think it has lost a little something. Still enjoyable, but not as "I need to rewind bc I was too busy laughing and I missed another joke" funny

Watched s2e1. It was ok. Had some moments, but didn't have me rolling. That said, season 1 took a couple episodes to hit its stride, so hopefully it picks up.

I have watched ep 1-5 so far. It is different but not worse. I didn't *love* Shoresy the first time til I watched the whole thing and "got" it. I think the same will be for this season but I also recognize that the characters need to breathe a bit.
The hockey players are also more relaxed-I think thier awkwardness in S1 contributed to their charm.
I can understand why some might think this is not as good. I think it is different. S3 is already a go. Do they take a road trip?
Also I want a Soo Hunt jersey!

Just watched the last episode. Awesome and redeemed the season. Looking forward to rewatching for detail sometime soon.
Not quite as good as S1 in y opinion but still good. Wish these were longer seasons.
Looks like they do have the Hunt jerseys available at the official merch store: Home and Away.
I finished the new season and thought it had a similar structure as S1 with the first episode mainly setting the stage for the rest of the story, gradually building up and then just absolutely nailing the finale.
With S3 likely covering the senior A tournament, I wonder if Reilly, Jonesy, or Coach will be making an appearance?

I enjoyed the season quite a bit. And they definitely cater to their demographic with all the smoke shows they have on that show.

I only see S1E5 - S1E6.
I watched S1E6 and after it started playing S2. Still doesn't show it in the episodes though.
