The way you called it a "series" made me think…would it have been better as an HBO level series for about 5 seasons? Assuming the same actors, and obviously not focusing on the one drive for all the series.

Although, I recall reading that the actors were pretty miserable by the time they finished filming all the cattle drive scenes. So maybe no one would've signed up for that on a repeat basis.

What passes for Montana north of the Milk River in the series is actually Black Lake, New Mexico. It hasn't changed much from when it was filmed.

How expensive is it to rent this whole series?

Havent seen it in several years.
