Initial reaction: YYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

Immediately afterwards: crap…not watching this until around 7 pm tonight when the kids are home from gymnastics…

Seriously as much as I'll want to watch this during the day I've grown to really love watching things like this for the first time when my kids are watching for the first time.

So I guess I get to avoid this thread for most of the day

Looks much closer to film quality. Definitely got a fatter budget... But the head of the inquisitor still irks.

Can tell the Vader scenes likely got the $$$ treatment, as they should.

It just seems like such a weird place to cut corners for budget (presumably the motivation?) Have to be a ton of other options that aren't as prominent.

Hopefully it's really good. But the trailer looks pretty iffy to me.

And as has been repeatedly pointed out, there are so many plot holes or incongruencies from the original movies it might take a stroke of rogue one style genius to tie it all together sensibly.

The plot holes to Ep IV are easy to fix. Obi Wan gets knocked on his head and loses some of his memories. He forgets he ever knew R2 or 3P0. He forgets he ever met Vader. Easy peasy.
