I have not read this thread, cause inadvertent spoilers and such. I just finished the second episode. Boy, is this super slow! Both episodes are snoozefests, except the last 15 seconds. I am strongly contemplating pulling the plug. And the premise of a big ass hole in the earth, or whatever else it is a hole in, and old man doesn't tell anyone is a big stretch. He can cover up a murder with these folks, but cannot tell them about some kind of rift in the universe on their property that he cannot hide? Come on. I will give it one more.

And tried it on several other computers as well, their web version sucks. I don't have that issue on any other streaming service regarding having to refresh the page

I've only watched 2 episodes, but it feels a little corny so far. I'll keep watching since I love shows that have some sort of time travel/portal vibe like dark.

This show has just enough "weird" in it to keep us watching. I'm desperate for some answers as to how the camper is related to the family. Between the singing and the just down-right crazy, the neighbor characters are a BIT on the cheesy side for me.


The major theory in this house is that camper is the grown-up daughter(grand-daughter) who travels back and forth. We just want to know why...

The ultra-rich family - the dad and Billy especially - are definitely a bit much. But I've come to like their little weird eccentricities, and I'm betting the dad, at least, is the way he is because of previous exposure to the hole. There was a super quick shot of him as a kid/teen standing next to it, and it's clearly driven him a little mad over the years, understandably so.

I admit, I did go a little crazy, because I kept thinking it was a bedroom scene, so I went back and rewatched every scene in his bedroom from episode four, and then episode three, but couldn't find it. And it was driving me nuts, because I know I didn't hallucinate it. Finally rewatched the opening scene, though, and found it. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you don't want to do a work project and embrace any excuse to procrastinate.

That said, I got fed up all over again when it wouldn't let me screenshot. Seriously, what are they afraid of? That someone is going to screenshot every last frame, assemble those thousands of frames together, and try to sell a video without any audio? It's so stupid.

I was thinking, hmm, that means something. My guess now is they met very young and the hole portal had something to do with it of course.

Still on the fence about pulling the plug. Four episodes in and they have spent like 45 seconds investigating this hole. So far, this is a pretty weak family drama with some hole making a cameo. And, surely those **** kickers have watched at least one episode of Law and Order. When you commit a murder and you are being interrogated by the law, ask for a lawyer. Come on. And I still say this show is slow and pretty boring. I find myself playing on my phone cause it doesn't captivate me.

I thought the picture is a boy and a girl. So him and his sister. Which could be Autumn. Her line about not remembering anything before she was 9 coming back. So maybe she was 9 and Royal 10 when they first ported. And who knows what the portal does to your mind.
