Well that was one of the Michael Bay-iest Michael Bay movies I've seen in a while. Also, drone shots much?
As Bay movies go, I'd say it's solidly in the middle of his filmography, maybe around the first Transformers. It's a good turn off your brain popcorn movie, with admittedly some pretty dumb stuff. But the typical Michael Bay signatures and dialogue are here, so it's entertaining if nothing else. And a ton of 360 shots and even some meta references to other Bay movies.
The end was surprisingly emotional, will say that.
