I saw it today. It was good, not as good as I expected. The Viking series was better, but it had a longer run. For a movie it was decent. It was violent and bloody, but could've been way more so, especially regarding the women, they were pretty tame. Outlander and GOT are more brutal in that this was in many ways.

I'm not complaining about that, it is what it was. Don't go see movies like this is you don't like that sort of thing. Vikings are gonna Viking. I love the Norse mythology, Odin, Valkyries and such. Lots of imagery.

Skarsgard did a good job. Nicole did too. Initially I briefly thought Ethan Hawke was Josh Brolin. ha ha.

What's weird is they played husband and wife in big little lies, now son and mom.

Far more interesting than Lighthouse, which I actually enjoyed. I recommend watching Northman with multiple mixed beverages
