Didn't see a thread for this already. Just wanted to say if you're a dad who likes action/heist movies and have a kid who is 5-10 years old you'll all enjoy it. Most fun I've had at the movies with my kids in a long time. Action sequences that are actually cool, appealing animation, jokes I actually laughed at, thankfully not a dozen music pieces like Encanto etc, and isn't trying to preach about anything other than being a decent person who helps people.

It's actually a book series, graphic novels to be specific, and my kid loves them.

We saw the movie and also thought it was a good one.

My boys love the books and have been dying to see this movie since it was announced a few years ago. We thought it was very good, but I think the whole family enjoyed Sonic more.

Took my 5 year old to see it on Saturday and we both really enjoyed it. Surprisingly some great car chases and Sam Rockwell was great.

Agreed I was skeptical but the kids wanted to see it and I was pleasantly surprised I fully expected to see a political statement or two but it was just a good, fun, happy ending kids movie.

Saw with a 6 and two 9 year old boys on Friday and all 3 enjoyed it. Felt like a kid's version of Ocean's 11.

I thought the animation was very well done - most everything was CG, but facial expressions looked hand drawn.

Exactly. They nailed the balancing act between engaging kids and not having parents asleep/on their phones. I can't remember the last time I actually watched a full kids show and wasn't just kind of waiting for it to end. I guess Jungle Cruise was the last one I dug.
