S1 was a fun storyline. Nadia's accent gets on my nerves, but didn't detract from the arc of the plot.
So far, 2.5 episodes in to S2, I'm disappointed that the writers haven't tried to explain the how/why of the predicament and conclusion in S1-- just seems like they moved on to a different plot. Maybe I'm jumping the gun before I finish the new season.
This series reminds me of The OA story a few years ago. Intriguing sci-fi/drama, but got bogged down by needing to pump out a new season before they could finish the plotline of previous seasons.
