With Memorial Day coming up, I was thinking of inviting a small group of co-workers to watch the movie "Taking Chance" at lunch. What are the legalities of doing this? It would be in a conference room in a state-owned building. How could this blow up / backfire on me?

Had a teacher show Texas chainsaw massacre during summer school back in the 80s and nothing happened to him I think.

If you are showing the film to your friends, than you should be fine. But if they are your employees, than you risk making them furious for jacking with their lunchtime
