Two things of note from this incident. First, Chris Rock was a guest and had a fitting remark.

Second, if you search, you can see what Chapelle's bodyguards did to the guy. Not posting it here, but just going to say that arms are not supposed to bend that way.

I blame Obama.

Stay with me here. When Kanye assaulted poor T Swift back in the day, the media asked Obama for comment. Instead of shutting it down and condemning the action, he just kinda grinned and said, 'what a jackass'. By not shutting it down, he basically condoned black guys getting up on stage and assaulting a performer. You see W. Smith just going along with the presidential sanctioned action and this new dude with the crooked arm doing the same. You know who didn't approve of Kanye's act??? George H. W. Bush. That's who.

Kathy Griffin was correct when she said Will Smith's actions would have consequences going forward for comedians.

It's almost unbelievable that she was correct...on pretty much anything.

Yep MBL has some gems on this site. Fair enough on using my point against me. There are definitely folks here that do look for the f16 bogeyman around every corner and my fault for making that assumption about you and I apologize for that.
