I can't be the only person watching this show. If I am, I shouldn't be, it is very good. Gotta say I'm shocked there's not a thread on it.

This came out of nowhere for me and while I don't usually enjoy period pieces, I absolutely loved this. Really fantastic show. Glad to see they got a S2 approved.

I watched to first two episodes after reading this thread. It's better than I expected for sure. Hot take: Sarah Lancashire is a better Julia Child than Meryl Streep.

We also watched and enjoyed it! Thought it lagged a bit in the middle of the season but finished nicely.

On a related note, HBO has been crushing it this year. Julia, Winning Time, Righteous Gemstones are all very good. The Staircase looks good as well.
