Wow, never watched these films but damn are they great. I would pay big money to see another 3 films with him back in his prime

His movies have always ranked among my favorites. License To Kill had all the trappings of a typical 007 movie, but felt much more a personal story than typical. Plus it had one of the best exchanges of dialogue:

Sanchez, who has Bond's gun: why the piece?
Bond: in my line of business…
Sanchez: what business is that?
Bond: I help people with problems.
Sanchez: oh, a problem solver….
Bond: no, more a problem eliminator.

I recently did a full James Bond watch-through, starting with Dr. No. I'd hardly seen any outside of Pierce Brosnan's entries. I loved Timothy Dalton as Bond, and License to Kill ended up being one of my top 5 favorites of the entire series.

I may need to rewatch these. Have not seen them in probably over a decade. I remember not being impressed. If memory serves, I think these got caught between trying to reel in the campiness of the later Moore films and becoming more serious but not quite reaching what they could be.
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.

Also has one of the hottest Bond girls in Carey Lowell.

Amazon Prime currently has all the Bond movies. I binged all the movies over the last few weeks. Dalton was actually pretty good. Roger Moore early on was great but the last three or so he made were pretty bad. Plus he was almost 60 when he made the last one. He was having sex with women old enough to be his daughter. Kind of creepy.

I wish I could put my finger on why I didn't care much for Dalton as Bond. I find myself agreeing with the praise for his movies but I'm also glad he didn't do more. I feel like Goldeneye wouldn't have worked with him as Bond, for example.

They were too ahead of their time. Dalton would definitely fit in Craig's bond movies more than brosnan

I liked Dalton as Bond. And Carey Lowell was smoking (although young me didn't appreciate cutting her hair in the film)

Very rare for a woman to pull that look off, shows she has true beauty to be able to

Sean Connery is the GOAT, but Dalton is a respectable 2nd. License to Kill is one of my favorites
