New rock has been hit and miss, but the singles released in the last couple of weeks are making me hopeful for future.
I Prevail came in hard and heavy with "Bad Things" last week. I've had it on near repeat since it dropped.
Beartooth slipped in with "Riptide." Fun song with a poppy style that still matches a lot of what they have done with the past.
Today, A Day To Remember released "Miracle" today. I've had to give it a couple of listens and it's growing on me. ADTR is one of my favorite bands of all time and they rarely put out anything terrible (Everything We Need being the exception because that is hot garbage).
Save yourself from listening to the new Panic! At The Disco release. "Viva Las Vengeance" isn't bad, but "Middle of a Breakup" does absolutely nothing for me.
Otherwise, we have had some good additions to the genre. I have faith in a lot of the new artists hitting the scene.
