I did a movie with Tom Jane back in 2019 and he brought Anne Heche with him to middle of nowhere GA. He asked for us to rent them a convertible so they could drive to his next gig in Dallas instead of fly back to LAX and then to DFW. I was reluctant but got all the insurance coverage. You can guess what happened to the car.

Good thing she didn't kill anybody else. Based on her actions, what the hell are people praising her for?
She overcame awful childhood trauma to make something of her life, entertaining people so that their lives would suck less. And she fought her demons as best she could until they consumed her. In the end, things got really bad for her, but she overcame a lot to shine really brightly for a while. Definitely lucky she didn't kill anyone else on her rampage a week ago, and hopefully the people whose house she hit have good insurance and can rebuild.Whirligigs said:

Hopefully she was a believer along the way and God has now taken her home and taken away all her pain. Reading just a few bits of her bio and the tragedies of her childhood, she definitely deserves to rest.

I just read up on her childhood because of this comment and damn... That would have broken most people. It's a miracle she turned out as well as she did and no surprise she had problems with drugs/alcohol.

All I know is that a friend was at a house party with him years and years ago, and he said Jane kept very obviously Shazaming very obvious Johnny Cash songs that were on the party playlist. Said it was so funny, and ever since hearing that story I can't hear a Johnny Cash song without picturing Thomas Jane drunkenly/eagerly holding his phone up to a speaker to Shazam it, as if hearing it for the first time.

She made a mistake and is fortunate that she didn't kill someone. But that don't mean you have to judge her whole life on just this one incident.
Uhh pretty sure that nurse that blasted through 6 people inebriated is gonna be judged on one incident. You shouldn't drive intoxicated, it's a careless disregard for others and you should be judged whether you hurt someone else or yourself, it is what it is.
