Das Boot
Air Force One

Took me a minute to move on from this combo.

That's quite a list though!

Top 5 Harrison Ford moment.

Also a movie I never get tired of watching.

Grew up enjoying Neverending Story, too. (Except for the wolf scene - f that.)

Think I was more scarred by this scene.

Das Boot is the best submarine movie.

Just a fantastic film.

Das Boot and In the Line of Fire were fantastic.

In the Line of Fire was the only movie I went to where people applauded at the end (other than a Godfather 20th anniversary re-release back in 92).

To this day it's such an underappreciated and kinda overlooked movie.

One of the best.

Haven't watched it in a long time - that's about to change.

I know he was in some award-winning movies previously, but In the Line of Fire really established John Malkovich as a mainstream bad-ass actor.

Not to mention putting then 39-year-old Rene Russo on my all-time hottie list.

You were a little late to noticing Rene Russo, then. She showed up a couple of years earlier in Lethal Weapon 3.

Rene Russo was a hottie in Major League. Pretty amazing how old she was when she hit it big. Got started and then hit her prime at an age most actresses fade out. And she still looks great today for pushing 70.

Back to Wolfgang Peterson - Das Boot was his masterpiece. But he had an impressive slate of movies that were just plain enjoyable and re-watchable. Channel surfer's dream line-up.

I knew who she was. I just found that to be her hottest character.

I knew I'd seen her prior to LW3 but couldn't place what movie(s).

Agree that Das Boot is his masterpiece.
