Played with his large band and was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. First time getting to see an A&M legend after hearing many stories from my dad (Class of '78) about seeing him around town back in the day. Had a couple of nice digs against tu and was proudly sporting his Aggie ring.

Seems to be the case. Hopefully REK doesn't disappoint at Spence next week.

I've probably seen Lyle 8 times and every show feels completely different. Sometimes it's just him, sometimes with the large band, some times with a gospel choir behind him...He's got such a big catalog that you rarely hear him perform the same song either. The last one I went to Luke Bulla did some of his solo stuff too which was great.

Have seen Lyle many times.

It's been a few years, but Lyle and his Large Band in the Majestic in San Antonio created a sound that was quite excellent.

Saw Lyle and his Large Band in Lubbock about 15 years ago, just a great show.

He boned Julia Roberts so he's always good…

Saw Lyle in Houston last night. Phenomenal show! I could listen to him just get up there and talk and tell stories for hours. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy and a great representative for A&M!
