Undeclared is a one-season tv show from 2001 about a group of new freshmen at an unnamed college in California. It was an early Judd Apatow production (after Freaks and Geeks) with some soon to be big stars including Seth Rogan, Jay Baruchel, Jason Segal, and Charlie Hunnam (Jax from Sons of Anarchy). I rewatch the entire 17 episode series about once every three years at the beginning of the school year. I was a freshmen over a decade before the show's timeline, but looking back things hadn't changed that much. No iphones, pre-9/11, and no wokeness. CDs were still the preferred choice for music, and money and sex were the priorities of the day. Legal weed was still many years in the future.

You can find the show on free youtube if you can stand the eight year old video rip. The show has not only aged well, its gotten better with time.

If this one flew under your radar, you'll probably be horribly disappointed if you watch it. But its gonna rain all weekend, the Aggies play early on Saturday, and you're off on Monday. What else are you gonna do? Queue it up!

I really wanted to like this show and I remember trying to watch it years back after rewatching Freaks and Geeks. I just cannot stand Jay Baruchel (in any role really) and I couldn't make it through because of him. Maybe I'll give it another shot now.

Yep, that is totally reasonable. Baruchel is cringe inducing in almost every scene. But first semester college freshmen tend to be cringe inducing. It worked for me.

If you give it another shot- he is no less painful to watch than he was in 2001.

I enjoyed it back in the day. Gave me some unnecessary pre-college stress, like my roommates were going to constantly be hooking up with girls and locking me out of my dorm room, and other such awkward eventualities that never really happened.
