I see you still have regular Hulu and Netflix like a peasant.

Try Netflix+ and Hulu+. So much more content.

We cut the cable (Directv) cord in 2014, well before most posters and lurkers here.

Don't ever change.

Hallmark channel + for the win. Well at least so the wife can watch Christmas movies year round.

Surely AMC doesn't remain a solo steamer in the long run, right? I can't think that they have that much content or do they?

Are they not part of one of the larger parent companies?

Well, any hope they had of building a major streaming platform evaporated when their app kept crashing during the final run of "Better Call Saul". It was their big opportunity to sell themselves, and they have some British content that looks interesting. But it ain't worth messing with if you have to log in every ten minutes.

As someone in his mid-30's, the Showtime brand might as well already be dead. In my social circle, I've never heard of anyone choosing to sign up for it so it make sense to just merge it into Paramount+. I know older Showtime content would occasionally appear on other streaming services so it makes sense for Paramount to bring it in-house.
Yellowjackets is the only reason I ever darken Showtime's door. Prior to that, had not watched anything related to the network in a decade.
