Think someone in their early 30's could like this or get into it?
That's around the cast age at the time so yea. Should fit very well.
Is there a streaming service or somewhere I can watch it cheap? 90's kids like me remember this show for other reasons. I still have never watched an episode. As soon as it came on I would always turn the channel. As a young kid, you kind of knew it was time for bed when the helicopter and theme song came on.
The entire series is on Hulu right now.
I'm not sure a 30 year old would enjoy it that much. The first season has some good episodes but is kind of a weird tone throughout. IMO it was trying to connect with the movie but be funnier (in a network TV sitcom from the late 60's and early 70's kind of way) and include a laugh track. The tone in season 2 changed and stayed fairly consistent for 3-5 years, but with some key characters shifting out and being replaced (as happens in war). Then there are the last 5-6 seasons that we've talked about back and forth already on this thread.
If you start it, commit to two seasons. They're short episodes but there are a lot of them each season. Point being…don't base your opinion of the entire series on the first 3-5 episodes since I don't think that's going to be a fair barometer.
