I remember Coolio blowing up in the summer of 1994, when I first stepped foot on campus for a new student conference. It was the beginning of the most fantastic of voyages. Rest In peace Coolio.

found him randomly dancing in Charlie's on SPI spring break of '94 I think...funny enough, nobody really recognized him so he was just dancing in his own little space.

Was a great summer over here as well headed into junior year of high school when all I pretty much listened to at the time was rap/hip-hop.

Doesn't even seem to me like he'd almost be 60 years old now. Getting old sucks. RIP.

I karaoke rapped Gangsta's Paradise at a bar in Dallas in front of him in 2012. He didnt SEEM to be impressed but we did take a few pictures together afterwards, and then his stripper partner/wife? started following me on instagram.

That's all I got. RIP my dude.
