both had drugs and women, but axl rose the man is an entirely different personality/story arc that MC didn't have.

How does metallica not have one? Maybe because they are still intact and active?

Love and Mercy was pretty good. Brian Wilson biopic that cuts between young and old. Paul Dano is great (as always) as young Brian, John Cusack surprisingly good as old Brian

Yeah... I can vouch for the under the table action at The Rainbow.

Here in LA, you never know who you're going to meet at a 5 year old's birthday party and what they may have done in the 80s.

Not movies but there is a series of TV documentaries from the UK - called Rock Legends. Each show is either 30 minutes or an hour, usually covering a single band's history. Definitely worth watching

It was a one night only in theaters thing. I wasn't able to make it. Will have to wait until it's streaming somewhere. Pretty sure it was called Moonage Daydream.
