brother in law told me it was pretty solid, and we have similar taste in shows/movies. But I watched the trailer and it looked horrible. Probably something I'll get around to eventually when I'm traveling for work and am looking for something to watch.

We're enjoying it so far. Created by Steve Levitan who also created Modern Family. A lot of the humor is very 'inside show business' if you like that sort of thing.

So far, it reminds me of The Comedians with Billy Crystal and Josh Gad. Kind of a show within a show that pokes fun of show business.

The grown-up version of the kid actor reminds me a lot of Ryan Hansen on Party Down

Watched a few episodes last night and thought it was really good. In fact, when I think about the most enjoyable new series I've watched this year I'd put this at #3 so far behind Andor and The Bear.

The sex scene episode was hilarious.

Are they only doing an 8 episode season? Pretty weak for a comedy.

Also hope the writer dad doesn't leave, he is easily the best character.

News is a couple of weeks old but was disappointed to learn this show was cancelled. I'm a little surprised because I thought the first season was solid. Good cast and writing, I thought a 2nd season was a no brainer. It wasn't perfect but it's certainly better than a lot of shows that have gone multiple seasons.
