I loved this movie in all of it's bleakness and subtle humor. I even got my wife to watch it and she liked it. As we are separated from the Irish by a common language, she had to turn subtitles on. I understood more dialogue in this than I did Belfast. For whatever reason, I have only seen bits and pieces of In Bruges, so I want to see the entire movie.

I thought it was fantastic. Brutally sad. Didn't fall apart in the 3rd act so much as it represented a means to an end. But likely only a temporary end as they alluded to the Irish Civil War going on at the same time.

Extremely well acted. Colin Farrell has to be one of the most underrated actors of this generation. I know he's held in high regard but I really think he's up there with the absolute best of the best.

I used to think Collin Ferrel was a generic actor. Then I paid attention. No way you can watch The Lobster, Killing of a Sacred Deer, In Bruges, and The Gentlemen and consider him average. He's the sleeper of our generation. Will tune in to anything he is associated with here on out.

So glad for Kerry Condon! I feel like she got lost in the mix this awards season amongst the three males in the cast. She was fantastic.

Wow, I had no idea he's gone through so much in his life. I'll be rooting for him for years to come.
