It's Official: MÖTLEY CRE Guitarist MICK MARS Retires From Touring

Vince should be the one to retire.

Mick Mars was always the old man of the group. I'm honestly surprised he's been touring this long.

I saw them in San Antonio a couple months ago. Vince definitely needs to retire. If Motley Crue were to find someone who could sing like young Vince they would still be killing it.

Young Vince also sucked.

Honestly surprised the dude is still alive.
Life's an endless party, not a punch card.

Wow, he is awful. I guess the alcohol consumed at those concerts from back in the day really clouded my memory.

My mom had a neighbor with a similar condition. He had a morphine pump implanted. I think Mick had this done some years back.

The neighbor was not having quality of life even with the pump. I don't know how Mick has continued to tour. He's tough.

I was a massive Crue fan in the 80's and saw the Girls, Girls, Girls tour, Dr. Feelgood tour and saw and even got to meet Vince when he was kicked out of Crue in 94 or so when he and his band played a small venue in Stillwater OK. I always thought it was all awesome back then. I guess I was just so excited to see them live. But now that youtube has videos of all those live performances from back then, I realize my memory was clouded too. LOL.

F'ing love John5. His instagram is fun because he posts videos at least once a week of him practicing/noodling in his home. He often has fun w/it via his outfits and whatnot.

Neil Schon does this. Every day it's another guitar from his massive collection.

It makes me want to practice or quit playing.
