I can't believe he outlived my parents (by a healthy margin). They saw him at a concert in Beaumont back in his glory days. He kicked the piano bench across the stage, and it broke into pieces.

my parent saw him in the 70's at Gilley's. He was so drunk he fell off the piano bench and the concert was over.
