Honestly that's part of the problem for me. Much better to hire unknowns for real life characters. Love Dominic West but his Charles was too dashing and charismatic. The actor who played young Charles did a much better job capturing the awkward and unhappy dullard I perceive him to be.bigcat22 said:

Agreed, it's distracting and he isn't a good fit for the role of Charles. The previous actor I thought was perfect. I think Diana actress is a good mattress though.

Let me be the first person ever in the history of Texags, in any forum, to admit that he was wrong. This season of The Crown is very good. I made my initial judgment based on the first three episodes but it got a lot better after that. I particularly liked the episode about Czar Nicholas and his connection to the British monarchy. That episode reminded me about what I truly loved about the early seasons, the historical events surrounding the monarchy.Txmoe said:
