This show has a lot of contrived storylines in it, and Monica is the center of at least half of them

This new storyline just gives Monica another reason to sulk and brood through all her scenes....sucks the momentum and energy out of the show.
Horse scene was so dramatic and poorly done.
Who would have thought that the militia men were such good cowboys to round up a big group of horses like that. I guess they were able to sneak up on them wearing all the camo

I get that it can be, but they needed to portray the seriousness of the injury better than they did. It was "oh, horse stepped in a hole. Gotta put him down"
I loved the "Paraquat is a pyrethroid" bit in the flashback. Also it's apparently akin to plutonium.

The premiere episodes were decent, not great. Seems like there are some solid storylines set in motion, though.

She's by far the weakest actor on the show. There is a reason why she's never in any scene with Kelly Reilly. I get what they try to do with her character but it just doesn't work because she's so wooden.
