I tried picking up a wagyu burger at Arby's on the way home because I got an email about it and they didn't have em till tomorrow. Wildly disappointing.

It's entertaining - Ralph Fiennes is well cast in this
I loved it more because it was original and fun than anything else. Fiennes was great in this.

Finished the movie around 930 having made a terrible choice with a Caesar salad (+ fried chicken). Wanted a burger so bad afterwards.
What was your favorite food in the movie? If the lamb was cooked properly, it would have been pretty good. Also, it would have been funny if there was a Voldemort reference in the movie because of Ralph Fiennes.
Watched it tonight, it was refreshing to watch a film that isn't completely predictable.

Hot damn, I loved that movie. Unique, suspenseful, crazy, and most of all it was just a lot of fun. The entire cast is great but Fiennes just steals the show. He's reserved but somehow at the same time has the volume turned up to 11. This movie is basically a combination of Chef's Table and Very Bad Things. Can't recommend this enough.

Finally watched this last night - it was great! I don't think you can fully appreciate the satire aspect of it if you've never watched any of Chef's Table. They just did a bang up job nailing that as well as the thriller/lite-horror aspects for a perfect blended emulsion of genres.
I don't know - I find her facial structure more distracting than beautiful. I thought she did a great job in the show though!bonfarr said:

Just watched it. Didn't fully understand the joke.
Just watched this on HBO Max. Really enjoyed it and loved the meal descriptions on screen. Fiennes was excellent as the chef (I'm a big fan of his). Movie was fun and different from a lot of other things I've seen.
Watched it with my wife last night. Normally, I'm into cheeky or quick witted films - my wife, not so much. The satire took just a hair too long for me to catch on to in order to really enjoy it.

I use a press for burgers on a grill all the time. You have to smash beforehand and then keep it on there, clean it,and rotate.
Can make an Lb of Waygu go a lot further.

I walked into this movie thinking it was going to be like Chef's Table, the movie. Boy am I glad I was wrong. This was much better!
this was good. obscure and unexpected. i'd call it a guilty pleasure of sorts.
Watched this last night. Awesome dark comedy aspects to it. Loved the digs at the pretentiousness of high end food and wine tasting.

I thought this movie was really great. Basically a bottle episode, with the focus on 10-12 characters. Really a fascinating/funny send up of modern obsession with chefs.
Good movie. Anya Taylor-joy could use a few more cheeseburgers in her life. I think she has a pretty face, albeit unusual; however, the more gaunt she gets, her face is getting more strange looking than beautiful
What a movie, absolutely great performance by fiennes as usually
